    Reminder Dialog Open Button

I just updated to Outlook 2016 (using Office 365). I use reminders quite a bit. When the reminder dialog opened, I do not see the "Open" button. I can right click to open an item, but no button. Where did the open button go?

    Dragging Files In Outlook 2016

Diane: Thank you. I added the registry keys you suggested along with the Level 1 attachment settings. No luck. I still cannot drag attachments from my Contacts or Tasks to a folder. I don't use formatting much in the Appointments (mostly use tasks). I'm assuming no option to change the...

    Importing Ribbons Not Saved

Diane: Thank you. When you say "made a new ribbon", may I ask what you mean? For the ribbons I created, I open "Customize the Ribbon" and uncheck everything, I then create a new tab with groups under that tab. I add in the commands I want and then export my settings to a file. I then click OK...

    Dragging Files In Outlook 2016

I have Windows 10 Anniversary Edition and just moved from Outlook 2010 to Outlook 2016 (via Office 365). In Outlook 2010 I was able to drag files from notes in my contacts and tasks to a folder on my computer. Now this capability no longer exists. I can still drag files into the notes (for...

    Importing Ribbons Not Saved

I was using Outlook 2010 and just moved to Outlook 2016 (using Office 365). In both versions, I created custom ribbons for my contacts, tasks, editing emails, reading emails, opening screen and tasks. I exported the ribbons to a file so I can have them for future use. In both 2010 and 2016 the...

    Outlook 2010 Cannot Open Attachments

I reinstalled the update and could not get it happen. I then removed the Policy registry settings you told me about and I could reproduce it. I have a contact and now I see this at the top of the contact (names covered up). These file names did have the multiple dots. When I then open the...

    Outlook 2010 Cannot Open Attachments

Thanks for the email. I took a look at the attachment file names. All the Word files were ".doc" or ".docx". There were some "MSG" and "PDF" files that have multiple dots. For example: name....pdf name....msg There were also a few "MSG" files that had a square bracket at the end of the name...

    Outlook 2010 Cannot Open Attachments

Diane Thank you. The files were MSG, DOC, PDF - Ones that I think (might be wrong) always worked even without the Level1Remove setting. Should I keep the Level1Remove and add the additional registry settings? Hopefully that will allow me to keep the patch and then just create a regedit file...

    Outlook 2010 Cannot Open Attachments

Thank you Diane. After removing that update, it now works. Do you happen to know if there may be another registry setting like Level1Remove so we do not have to remove this update on each computer that needs to open attachments. Thank you again. Shawn

Creating Email - Selecting Pre-Defined Text

I'm using Outlook 2010. When sending new emails, does such a tool exist where when in the subject field I can click something (button) / maybe right click and select from a pre-entered list of subjects to use? Thank you. Shawn

Displaying the Remind Beforehand Value in Calendar List View

I'm using O2010. Creating Views with the calendar. In some items, I have a reminder set to go off beforehand and I can set the time to 10 minutes, 1 hour, etc. This value (I think) is in the "Remind Beforehand" field. When this field is displayed in the calendar List View, instead of...
