Search results

My sister-in-law does a search in Outlook and tries to move an email from the search results into a folder. But instead of moving it, it is only copying it. Any ideas how to fix this?

Diane, I think you are right about those entiries being old leftovers. I have at times in the past told it to retain them when uninstalling, until i learned it is not necessary. If iCloud is installed and you were to switch to a different profile, do you expect iCloud would be in that profile...

A new profile and new .pst did not help. I also installed the previous version of iCloud. I've tried just about every fix I can think of. I am going to be re installing Office next.

SyncBack uses Windows' Volume Shadow Copy feature that allows it to backup open files like Word or Excel, but I don't know if Outlook would allow that. I'll check with their support people and report back here.
