I have a database integration between Office Accounting 2009 Professional and

Outlook Business Contact Manager 2007. When I add a New Customer in

Accounting 2009, as expected it shows up as a contact in BCM which is great.

But when I add a New Supplier in Accounting 2009, it does not show up as a

contact in BCM. Of course I need to keep a communication history with my

suppliers as well as my customers so can anyone tell me how to do this?

Thanks in advance.

John,

Sadly, I don't think the integration of BCM and OA2009 extends to this. I

know that the integration allows you to link customers in OA with accounts in

BCM, requiring you to create only one to get the other. I also know that you

can enter billable time from BCM into OA. But I have never seen a vendor

that I entered in OA show up as a contact or business contact in BCM

I hope I am wrong, but I don't think I am.

Sorry.

Thanks very much for your reply Bill. I recon this must be the case. I will

highlight this extra flexibility to Microsoft hopefully for inclusion in

future editions.

Regards, John.
