I just migrated to “New” Outlook on my Macbook. (Which, so far, has been ok, despite my worries after reading about the many problems/complaints online). I have an MS365 Subscription. When I go into settings on Outlook, the subscription renewal date on the Mac is 9/3/25 vs 7/23/25 on the iPad. I received two emails from MS this week stating the upcoming renewal of 7/23/25. (I don’t recall checking the renewal date on Outlook prior to migrating, so it is possible 9/3/25 date was always there).
I logged onto my MS account and see the renewal date is 7/23/25, which is correct. It’s always been that. The date never was 9/3. I thought well, I’ll see what happens on 7/23 - if the 9/3 date changes, but what if this mismatch causes a problem??? Will it? I don’t know!
Under “Subscriptions” in Account on Outlook, it says “Microsoft 365 Personal. Renews 9/3/25. And there is a “Refresh” button underneath that statement. Should I click it? I don’t want click on things I don’t know about, and I know nothing about this feature. Or should I just leave it and see what happens on 7/23? I didn’t know if having this date mismatch could cause a problem and would like some feedback from the community thank you! Donna
