Docking the peek

When I dock the peek of the calendar, it changes the view of my outbox from 4 columns vertical, to 2 lines horizontal. How can I keep the view of my inbox 4 (or more) columns vertical, and at the same time, dock the calendar? I tried reducing the columns in my inbox, and still it created a new view of 2 lines horizontal.

Try changing or disabling the option to use compact views when the width drops - it's in View tab, View Settings, Other settings - either uncheck use compact layout or lower the # of characters.
