Activities - Speeding up retrivel

Outlook 2010 32 bit

I have Office 2010 Pro and Windows 7 Pro.

When I open a Contact and click on Actiivites it takes a relatively long time for Outlook to retrive all of the emails, Notes, Journal, Contacts and Upcoming Task/Calendar items. Can they be indexed so that retrival doesn't take so long? Why does Outlook have to go out and find these things everytime?

Activities uses the old search engine, not Instant Search. You can't speed it up.

Are you using the people pane? It will find mail faster but won't find all outlook items.
