Constant Dropbox Outlook Addin Authentication Prompts

How can I stop Office 365 Outlook from requesting "Authentication" for the Nextra Outllook Dropbox Add-in every time I open Outlook upon each boot of Windows on my PC, and make the Authentication stick for good?

It's annoying, and it's the ONLY Add-in that gives me this issue, most likely because it must "sync" with the Dropbox software I have installed.

I'm not familiar with that addin. Does it have an option to save authentication?

I don't know how it works... but try adding dropbox url to IE's trusted sites list. I don't know if it will work, but that is how you get finicky websites to remember passwords.

Thanks- I've followed your advice, and hope it does the trick. This add-in slows down my installed, click-to-run Office 365 Outlook upon opening (Windows 7 Ultimate-Enterprise Ed., 64 bit SP1, MSI P-33 Combo PC, 8GB Ram, custom-rebuilt from a Dell XPS 400), so I had to force it to remained enabled via the recommended Windows registry tweak.

But it's the only Outlook add-in for Dropbox right now, and a "developmental" one, so I'll live with it.

What does it do?

If you only use it to insert a link to the file, you can do it from the Insert file dialog.

Go through the steps to insert a file then right click on the file in the dropbox folder and choose share link. This works for onedrive for business too and may work for other cloud services that install sync utilities. (Tresor can upload and share an encrypted link using the same method - using any file on the hard drive.)
