After upgrading to Windows 10 and Outlook 2016 (Office 365), Outlook re-indexes every time I open the app and, even when it finishes the indexing, it will not return search results. I have searched this forum and spent time with Office 365 support with no solution. I was able to get it to work correctly after building a brand new profile but only for a couple of weeks. Has anyone else had this problem?
As I mentioned, I'm on Windows 10 w/ Outlook 2016 (all updates are current), email accounts are IMAP and use Office Calendar and ACT! Add-Ins
Trouble-shooting steps taken
- Office 365 Quick Repair & Online Repair
- Office 365 Uninstall/Reinstall
- Rebuild Outlook profile
- Rebuild Index
- Repair PST file
- checked drive for errors
The only step not taken that I can think of is a Windows re-install or rebuild. Any other things to check?
