I recently had to reset my Windows Search feature. When I re-enabled it again, and Search began indexing my Outlook 2010 PST files, I noticed that the .pst extension file type was being indexed by the "Plain Text Filter." It's been a long time since I've looked, but I have the feeling that there once was a dedicated iFilter specified there, similar to the way .one files are identified as being indexed by "Microsoft OneNote Indexing Filter." I came here today to get clarification on whether the "plain text filter" is all that is needed, or if I need something else. If I need "something else," what would that be, and where can I download it?
