Cannot open .pst file

Hello,


I'm trying to open outlook data file saved on an external disk but its not being recognized.



I have noticed a blue arrow on the outlook .pst file.


Any idea what could be the issue ?

I think the blue arrow on your Outlook .pst file indicates it's a shortcut or stored in a cloud service, which might cause access issues. Ensure the file is fully downloaded to your external disk. Check permissions by right-clicking the file and looking at the Security tab.
Verify you're using the correct Outlook profile and try running Outlook as an administrator. If you suspect the .pst file is corrupted, consider using the Inbox Repair Tool (scanpst.exe) to repair it.
