Daily Task List Minimized Cannot Display

Outlook 2016 64 bit
Email Account
Exchange Server 2010
Out of the blue yesterday, the daily task list in my calendar cannot be displayed in normal view. I can toggle it between off and minimized, but trying to set it to normal will just display it in the minimized view. When the daily task list is minimized, the expander carrot on the right of the task bar doesn't do anything.

I tried restarting outlook. Didn't help.
I tried restarting my computer. Didn't help.

Any ideas?

Hi Diane, thanks for the reply. What do you mean by resetting the view on the calendar? If you mean changing from week view to something else (like daily or monthly view), I've tried this and it didn't fix it. Any other ideas?

Reset - if there is corruiption in the view, this should clear it.

ah, thank you for the clarification. Unfortunately, I tried this and no luck. I've been able to find a few other forums/threads referencing this issue, but so far, none of them have identified the cause.

My IT department ran Outlook.exe /cleanviews to reset the ribbon in Outlook and this resolved the issue!
