My New Outlook will not let me drag an email from my IMAP account (e.g. a comcast.net account) to the ToDo section of MyDay, nor do I have the option to view flagged emails from that IMAP account in that ToDo section. When I try it, I get a "Account Not Supported" message. It seems this can only be done with my Microsoft365 accounts. This is very annoying as Classic Outlook alllowed you to flag an email and then have it show up in the Task portion of the ToDo bar. Is there any workaround for this and/or is this feature going to be enabled for non-Microsoft 365 accounts in the future?
Also, it would be nice if the tasks (or flagged emails) from all accounts would show up in a single ToDo bar instead of only by account.
Funny, New Outlook finally solved the Classic Outlook problem of showing appointments from all accounts, not just the default pst data file, in the Calendar bar (when you are in email view), but then broke the ToDo bar function in email view that was so nice in Classic Outlook. One step forward, one step back??
