This all started with trying to open outlook today and getting the message "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open Outlook window. Invalid XML, the view cannot be loaded.". To make s long story short, we did many things that were suggested and each one of the fixes failed. Probably caused by an corrupt file. Dell logged in and ran diagnostics and scan disks and verified everything was working again. There were 2 other word files that were also corrupted.
We uninstalled outlook and removed all PST and OST files and then ran a fresh outlook install. We got into outlook and entered our exchange server account which outlook found and started to configure outlook. About 10 minutes later we got that same message again Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open Outlook window. Invalid XML, the view cannot be loaded."
How can we completely remove the offending outlook file so we can do a fresh install?
