Outlook 2013 Cannot set outlook.com account as default data file

So,

I bought outlook 2013 because it should be top of the line in email clients.

I am however running into problems regarding the calendar.
I want to get a calendar from a outlook.com account.

To do this i added the account, with no problem (only mention was that it could not find a app in the catalogue?).
Then i tried setting the data faile of the outlook.com account to be the default data file.
But no... It gives me an error that basicly says: ost != pst.

so..... What now? This should be easy?
 
How many accounts are in your profile? If you have any Exchange account, you can't set the an Outlook.com EAS account's data file as the default. The Exchange account data file needs to be default.
 
There are three accounts.
- A pop3 account as the default email account
- An office365 exchange account
- And the outlook.com account to be the default data file.

I can set the pop3 account to be the default data file.

But ok. If i cannot set the outlook account as the default data file. How can i import it's calendar and contacts into the exchange account in such a way that it will show up in the right toolbar.
Because i know how to get the calendars read only link. But that won't show it in that toolbar. Only on the agenda tab.

The next step btw, would be to also add a google calendar as a read only calendar that would need to combine.
 
The To-do Bar only displays appointments in the default calendar folder - you'd need to import the appointments that are on the outlook.com calendar into your Exchange calendar. The same applies to the tasks and contacts.
