Hello,

I'm having issues adding events to the default holiday calendar that came with Outlook 2013 when I installed it. I'm on an AsusT100 Tablet and installed Outlook through Office 365 Home Edition.

I attached a screenshot of the error I get when I try to add an event to the holiday calendar. How do I change my own permissions? I ran outlook "as an administrator" but that did not help.

Thanks,

Greemo

Microsoft IT help determined since this was a synced calendar (from hotmail account) I have zero permissions to the calendar. A bit silly that I cannot edit, move, or delete from Outlook. Anyway, resolved.

Correct, because its a calendar the Hotmail account created (and maintains, using birthdates in contacts) you can't edit it. You can delete the calendar online if you don't want to use it. Outlook on the desktop should create holiday events in the default calendar with all of your other appointments.
