In O2010, there is the Indexing option. I'm assuming this is the same indexing service in W7 but just different ways to access the same item.
Assuming I'm correct, is there a need to automate the indexing in Outlook? The reason I ask is I made copies of contact folders and tried to use advanced find on the folder. When I grouped the data, I saw there were 3,456 contacts that should of matched. However, when I used Advanced Find, only 1,547 were found. I was doing a search on country. As the search ran more, more matches were found.
When I copy contact folders (or other folders), does it then need to be indexed for search to run properly?
