We have a user that has personal contact which contains over 5000 of and they stated that the contact in outlook 2007 are not showing all. Missing like the last 20 contacts. Sure not what would cause this.:confused:
 
Are they on an exchange server? pop account? Depending on what type of account they have (Hotmail,gmail, etc.) they may have reached their limit for whatever is set on the server for whatever email client you are using.
 
they are on the exchange server 2007 and I think you there not at it's limit
 
This is a contacts folder or a distribution list?


Can they find the missing contacts if they search?




AS an FYI, the limit for a contacts folder is 16,000 (oldest version) to unlimited (newest versions).
 
In outlook 2007, the contacts limit is around 15000 or 16000, so it cannot be that reason. But check if they have set any limit. If that is the reason, then increase the limit. If not then first check their account type and also check whether they are using a pop account or exchange server. I am sure the contacts are not missing
