Sync Sharepoint Calendar With Personal Calendar

Hi,


Well, the title asks it all - that is, I simply want appointments to pop into my (already connected) SharePoint Calendar whenever said appointments are entered into my "default/personal" calendar.

My info:

My Outlook account's email address is: "security@company.com", but I "guess" my "default/personal" calendar name is just simply "calendar"...???, or at least that's what it says when I right-click on Properties and look in the General tab.

My SharePoint calendar name is: "Companyweb - Security Calendar", or at least that's what it says when I right-click on Properties and look in the General tab.

You would need to either create them in the Sharepoint Calendar folder or use a macro to move or copy them to the Sharepoint calendar.

Here are two different macros - the first will keep a copy in your default calendar, the second will save them to the other calendar (no copy in your calendar)
Copy new appointments to another calendar
Save appointments to a non-default Outlook calendar folder

OK, so here's the inevitable, "What am I doing wrong here?" reply... So, I went with the second, simpler macro, and replaced "datafile-display-name\Calendar" with everything under the sun that I thought might pertain to my account (see my above account Info - anything missing there?), and nothing got transferred over to my SP calendar when I created a new Appt. in my default calendar. So, do you "exactly" know how I should be "editing" that code?

Anyone...??? Or might anyone know of a 3rd-party App that could do this (i.e., do what should already be a standard option/function of MS Outlook to begin with)?

I think everyone took the week off.

CodeTwo has a sync utility that should work, I think Sync2 might also handle it.

you are using this macro?

Private Sub newContact_ItemAdd(ByVal Item As Object)
Set ContactFolder = GetFolderPath("datafile-display-name\Contacts")
Item.Move ContactFolder
End Sub

The sharepoint calendar I added to my profile is in a pst named \\SharePoint Lists, calendar name is "SPS - Slipstick", so I would use SharePoint Lists\SPS - Slipstick as the folder path. (Don't forget the GetFolderPath function)
