question about personal and shared calendars

I have a new tablet with Outlook 2013 rt. I can see my MS exchange calendar from work. I also have a personal calendar (through google). On my iphone, I can see both at the same time but not have the google events get synced and therefore seen at work. Marking private items private is not enough, because they still show up on the shared calendar, just without the details. Is there anyway I can either a category of items that dont get shared at all or see google calendar on Outlook? Or is there an alternative to google that would work that way?
 
I'm not sure I understand the problem. The gmail calendar should be separate from the exchange calendar, so sharing shouldn't be a problem on your private phone. You can't filter what gets synced to the iPhone and can't hide by category AFAIK.
