Outlook 2010 Can somebody tell me , the question associated with OST format

I have a problem with my OST file. When I opened MS Outlook 2010 it showed error: Errors were detected in file 'Outlook.ost. Ost file is quite huge more than 6GB. I've heard of an alternative method of converting Ost to Pst, can anyone suggest something like this?
 
Honestly, its better just to delete the ost file and let it resync with your exchange server. Exporting it to a pst won't help - the mail is on the exchange server and won't sync until you fix the ost.

if you really want to convert it, see Convert an Exchange or IMAP .OST to a .PST for recommended programs. There are a lot of sleazy companies out there - I've vetted the software on that page.
