The hardest VBA/Outlook question yet

Hello people. I have a quick question to ask. I've been developing VBA applications for a while and I'm looking for ideas concerning something.

If any of you are familiar with what ListServ is, I'd like to do something similar to that but using Access and VBA. For the benefit of those who don't know ListServ, I'd basically like to have anyone who wants to subscribe/unsubscribe to an email listing to simply send an email to an address and they would be automatically subscribed/unsubscribed. I'm implying that the email would be processed by VBA and update the necessary record(s) without human intervention. The database would be running 24/7 in a VDI, awaiting the emails.

If you have an idea or a link you can direct me to please let me know. I would like to only use Outlook, Visual Basic, and Access, nothing else. My hands are tied!

Most mass mailers have the app pick up the mail from the mailbox than process it based on the first word in the subject (subscribe or unsubscribe). It might be easier to use a website url to send a command to a database to subscribe or unsubscribe and use email for NDRs.

To add Outlook in the mix, i have a macro that marks contacts that bounce - http://www.slipstick.com/developer/categorize-contacts-bad-addresses/ - Access could then check outlook and remove contacts that are marked. You could use the same method for subscribing and unsubscribing.

I don't know if anything here will be of use - http://www.slipstick.com/exchange/exchange-server-mailing-lists/ - its more for exchange server use.
