For some years I've successfully used the "Auto Bcc" VBA procedure from Slipstick (using Outlook 2010).
After recently doing an in-place upgrade of Windows I found that the procedure was no longer running because my self-signed certificate was apparently not recognised. It would only run if I enabled ALL macros in the Trust Centre.
I went through the self-signing procedure several times, even creating a new certificate, but without success.
After the last attempt Outlook VBA would no longer launch, so I now have two problems.
If I start Outlook in Safe mode, VBA will launch OK (though the macro is still blocked).
I read that the failure to launch could be due to an add-in problem. However, in Options there were no active add-ins. I noticed that after starting in Safe mode and launching VBA, the "Microsoft VBA for Outlook Addin" became active. I don't know if this enablement is meant to be "on-demand".
I'd appreciate any input. Should I try an Office 2010 repair? I'm interested to know what's broken.
