Outlook365 search item listed as "potential matches" can't be opened

Hello,

When I do a search in Outlook365, I see results under "potential matches". But when I click any of those hoping it will open, it doesn't, just the search bar is emptied and I get back to the mail list. Is that normal? Is there any setting I as user or the Admin can do so it works as I wish?
