Outlook 2021 needs 'enter' for people search

I have installed Of21, to get around the issue of Outlook not being able to maintain its exchange password. So, the exchange password issue is resolved, but Outlook (ver 2108) needs me to hit 'enter' when using People Search on the ribbon.

there doesn't seem to be a setting for "display results as query is typed" in options>search.
Has this function been totally removed from OL21?
Is there a way to get it back?
 
Diane: I've looked but not seeing a reg entry that relates to "display results as query is typed", in People Search.
Is there such an entry that I perhaps need to adjust, or an entry that I can add, to force OL to do this?

Yes, it was removed, quite a while ago. I'm not aware of a registry entry that will change it to search as you type.
