I can't believe what I am seeing when trying to install Outlook 2021

I just built a new computer so I had to download my office home and business 2021 again and when trying to install Outlook I could not believe my eyes what I was reading. I have an email address that I use for my Gmail account, I use the same email address for my Microsoft account but I use a different password with Microsoft.

Now when I'm trying to install Outlook it will only let me use my email address with the Microsoft password not my regular Gmail password which will screw things up and I won't have access to my normal Gmail account. But I thought I could change everything once it was installed but as I was trying to install Outlook it made me sign in using my Microsoft password then the following pop-ups appeared and I could not believe my eyes that Google Is making me agree to them reading composing sending and permanently deleting all my emails. Associate me with your personal info on Google, see my personal info including any personal info you've made publicly available, see your primary Google account email address ??? This is ridiculous and I hope there is a way around it. There is no way I'm giving Google access to everything it wants in these screenshots.

When I denied it would not let me install Outlook 2021. Since is the Gmail account I can understand Google has a me the ability to delete all my mail even close my account but to allow them to read and compose and send emails as if they were made??? that's crazy
 
That looks like the dialog you get when you add a gmail account to Outlook for email - it's part of the oAuth2 process.

This is not uncommon when adding an email account to Outlook that is used as Microsoft account but is not an outlook.com address.

Enter the address in the address dialog, click Advanced options then select allow manual setup option. Click connect and on the next screen, choose google. That should let you use the gmail password - but you will still get the dialog asking permissions.

So to install and use my Gmail with Outlook 2021 I Have to agree to allow them to read, compose, send emails as if they were me?

Also the email address and password for my Microsoft account even though it's the same email address has a different password that will not access my regular Gmail account. How can I fix that ??
 
I followed your instructions and I was able to install Outlook 2021 but it installed it as Imap I would have liked pop can I convert it to pop ?
 
Remove the account and add it as pop using the manual setup option - but you will need to enable 2 step verification and use an app password.

I removed the account but now it doesn't go to the manual setup when I click "new" it still wants to go through Microsoft and when I clicked advance le me setup manually no matter which password I use my normal gmail password or the one that Microsoft makes me use to install it I won't create a new pop account when I click on pop, if I click on Goggle it sets it up as IMAP again/
 
Okay I figured out what I needed to do, I had to use the app password I setup last year when I originally setup my Gmail account in Outlook 2021. The only problem I have now is it created a new .pst I have my original .pst saved how can I make Outlook use that one? I need to change the location.
 
I got it all figured out and it is working, all my emails downloaded to Outlook 2021. Now just trying to get it back to the way I want it to look. Thanks for your help Diane

I got my Outlook 2021 installed but still concerned that Google is making me agree to let them do all the things in the screenshots above. I always assumed my emails could be read by them and knew they could delete my account anytime. But for them to compose emails on my account?? that is agreeing to letting Google to compose emails that people would think I compsed?

Or am I reading it wrong?

This means Outlook has permission to access your email account. But it won't do anything on its own - except send mail, unless you have an automatic reply rule configured.

The dialog is mandatory when connecting to gmail using the oAuth protocol.
