How do I scan and insert into Outlook 2007?

I want to insert a scanned directly into OL7. It does not seem to be an

option in the insert menu to scan.
 
A scanned what?

State what you want to do in clear terms.

Check whatever software came with your scanner. It may have a

scan-and-email function.
