can't log chats in outlook?

I've googled this before and found explicit directions that don't work with the current layout of Outlook. Did they remove this feature?
 
Lync/ communicator chats? They should be saved in your mailbox. What are the steps you tried - if you can't convert the instructions to outlook 2013 menus, i will be able to.
