Outlook Desk Top 2021 Overdoing Security

Been using this for a few years. Outlook just started giving me the attached message when clicking on ANY link in ANY email message. How do I stop this?

When searching I find Microsoft instructions to fix this on 365 Outlook which do not work on my version.

I haven't seen that yet but another user had the same problem. They tried a key to remove the warning for attachments but it didn't work.

Does it only happen with specific link or with all? The other user said it only happened with 1 company and the link had ?userid=

I will see what I can find out.

Thanks for your response. It happens with MANY, but not all.....guesstimate about 50-75 % of the time. I do not see "userid=" when scrolling over links. See if these two screenshots are of any help. Journey link scrolled over and then clicked on. Journey is a reputable company with which I have no security concerns and whose website I have been to many times before this started with no Outlook warnings.

I think it's the encloded part at the end that is triggering the issue - the error-
"Microsoft Office has identified a potential security concern.
This location may be unsafe." - seems to think it is downloading something that would be covered by trusted location security settings in the file type's app.

Who is your email host and what do you use for antivirus?
 
Email is GMail IMAP, Antivirus is MS Defender and Malewarebytes. I've already tried disabling MBytes. No Help.
I can find no settings in Trusted Center that seem to make any difference. Have tried changing a few anyway. No help.
Have no idea if this makes any difference but there is no Message Bar in Outlook Trust Center, as it is in other Office Apps.
 
This should fix it - but when I told another user to do it, they said it did not work. It's possible they tried manually adding it and messed up - I have a reg file there to download and run.

It appears that this fixed it. Choices included Q Word for 64 bit ( I have 64 ), but I entered new D Word for 32 Bit. I cannot thank you enough for your help. This is the second time you've helped me solve a problem!
