Outlook downloads error out if one particular account is the first to download

When one of my e-mail addresses is the first to download any waiting messages, very often the downloading process will error-out afterwards and none of the other accounts will download any waiting messages. They DO download the next time Outlook (2010) checks for more messages. That never happens with any of the other accounts but almost always with that one. Any idea what's going on? More important, what can I do to fix it?

All of the accounts are POP3 and the problem account is NOT the default account.
