On Outlook Desktop App (Windows)
Steps:
- Open Outlook
- Click New Email
- Write your message
- Go to the Options tab
- Click Delay Delivery
- Under Delivery options, check:
Do not deliver before
- Choose your desired date and time
- Click Close
- Press Send
On Outlook Web Version
Steps:
- Open Outlook Web
- Click New Mail
- Compose your email
- Click the small arrow next to Send
- Select Schedule send
- Choose a suggested time or click Custom time
- Click Send
On Outlook Mobile App
Currently, scheduling options may vary by device/version.If available:
- Compose email
- Tap the 3 dots menu
- Look for Schedule send or Send later
Important Notes
- On the desktop app, Outlook usually needs to remain open for scheduled sending.
- If using Exchange/Microsoft 365 accounts, server-side scheduling may still work even when Outlook is closed.
- Scheduled emails can be edited from the Outbox before they’re sent.
