Outlook 365 Can I set up a Microsoft 365 account to capture emails sent and received from a comcast.net account?

New Outlook will not allow you to drag and drop emails from a non-Microsoft 365 account to the To Do bar of My Day, nor will it allow you to view flagged emails from such accounts in the To Do bar of My Day. I use an comcast.net account as my primary account and want to have the ability to do each of the above (drag and drop to To Do bar; and view flagged emails from that account in the To Do bar). Is there some way to create a new Microsoft 365 account that either has my comcast.net email address and can get email from the comcast.net server or to somehow move/copy/forward emails from my comcast.net account to the new Microsoft 365 account? Without this ability, new Outlook is missing featrues I need.
 
Not to be a stick in the mud, but why are we supposed to embrace the new Outlook? I am still listening.

As Diane has pointed out numerous times, you do not have to move to the New Outlook.

Classic Outlook is NOT Going Away in 2026

If you have, or buy, a paid Microsoft 365 subscription that includes "Desktop versions of ... Outlook" (not the "Microsoft 365 Business Basic" plan), you do not have to switch to the New Outlook.

Use Classic Outlook, not New Outlook

If you do not want to subscribe to a paid Microsoft 365 plan to get Classic Outlook, then you might want to consider buying a license for Office Home & Business 2024. This includes Outlook 2024. The latest version of the full featured, Classic, desktop, stand alone, perpetual license Outlook.

Yes but what about my original question? I'd like to use new Outlook, but the issue with the inability to flag or create a To-do item from a comcast email is problematic.
 
Homeblower covered it - go back to classic outlook, where this does work.

The reason this does not work is because the comcast account doesn't have a to-do subscription. While you can create a Microsoft account for that address, you can't add it as an account to new Outlook. all accounts in new Outlook are "siloed" and cannot share with other accounts. So even if you added a Microsoft with that address, you couldn't move mail into it.

They don't want to read threads. They just want to ask their question, get a perfect answer, and then move on.

And this situation is supposed to make me want to move to new Outlook? Or actually, make me even more resistant to new Outlook.
