Thanks Raul. I actually re-installed Office completely using Small Business
this time thinking the standalone add-in of BCM didn't provide the proper
interop software. When that didn't fix the problem, I built a new ost file.
When that didn't solve the problem I started removing one-by one the flags
for followup attached to BCM contacts that I had added earlier today. Believe
it or not, the removal of one of them (perhaps a corrupt link?) fixed the
problem.
I appreciate the profile suggestion, but wouldn't that wipe out all of my
configuration?

Thanks again Raul. I misunderstood re. the new profile, forgetting that a new
one doesn't wipe out the old. I'll remember that as an option in the future.
I have to say that BCM is now running like a champ. We have several thousand
records now on a server with heavy simultaneous activity going on as we clean
up some recently imported prospect files. So far so good.
