- Outlook version
- Email Account
- Exchange Server
I'm using a hosted Exchange account. My host had a really bad failure last week and basically had to rebuild from the ground up. This created a new mailbox for me which I had to import all of my data into (when I opened Outlook I got the option to use the offline version, or open the new mailbox).
I have since created a new mail profile with new OST file so Outlook opens without a problem and my data is there, but I had many custom folder views which I can still see in the offline copy, but cant figure out a way to export them. I tried saving the OST as a PST and also creating a new blank PST and adding folders and then copying the view (How to copy Microsoft Outlook custom views to backup or share - Outlook Tips). When I open the PST in the new mail profile the views didnt copy (maybe because OL is in the offline mode).
Is there any way I can recover these views at this point without having to create them manually?
(perhaps using mfcmapi which I just discovered, but dont fully understand)
Thanks
