Macro in Outlook for auto-reply

I need help getting started with creating a macro in outlook with conditions of:

- recieve an email from (E-Mail Removed)

- read the subject link that contains "Important Notice"

- auto-reply back to them with a format "Hey, thanks for your email. Give us 1-2 business days, we will get back to you shortly."

It seems easy but just as difficult and I have to do it in VB. any help is appreciated..

I've started working on the script:

Sub SalesEmailReply()

Dim StrMail As String

Dim Main1 As Outlook.MailItem

Dim Reply As Outlook.MailItem

Set Main1 = Application.ActiveExplorer.Selection(1)

Set Reply = Main1.Reply

Main1.ReceivedByName = ""

Main1.Subject = ""

Reply.To.Add Original

Reply.Subject = "Sales Tag xxxx"

Reply.Body = "type response in html"

Reply.Display

Reply.Send

End Sub

Do you want it fully automated or do you want to look at the message and run the macro yourself?

See Run a script rule: Autoreply using a template - Slipstick Systems for an automated option.

Step 1 and Step 2 (mail from x, with subject of y) would be the conditions in a Rule. Step 3, the autoreply, would be in a script.

You'll need to uncomment this line: ' Set oRespond = Item.Reply and remove the one that uses a template (assuming you want to reply to the original message).

This part:
.HTMLBody = "Your reply text goes here." & vbCrLf & _
"---- original body below ---" & vbCrLf & _
Item.HTMLBody & vbCrLf & _
"---- Template body below ---" & _
vbCrLf & oRespond.HTMLBody

Should do that. If you want it formatted like outlook does it, use
Set oRespond = Item.Reply

and remove the template line.
