Upgrading to Outlook 2013 causing calendar subscriptions to fail

A colleague and I have recently upgraded from office 2010 to 2013. We had shared calendars, published using webDAV. When we upgraded, the calendars remained but refused to sync. When I get invited to subscribe to a calendar, I click the link, a window pops up for a fraction of a second, no error messages, but no calendar either.

I also cannot publish my calendar via WebDAV server (CloudSafe), error message: "Failed to sign in", but I get no chance or choice to sign in

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
