I've lost my Notes upgrading to Windows 7

Recently upgraded to Windows 7 laptop from XP. Installed Office Pro 2003 on new laptop and created my Exchange 2003 email account. Copied archive.pst and outlook.ost from old drive to new drive. Everything came over fine, Emails, Contacts, Calendar except for my Notes. I have lots of important information in these Notes that I don't want to lose. Does anyone know how to recover the Notes from the old drive. I am desparate.

These are Notes, as in the yellow sticky style notes or notes on individual appointments, contacts etc?

Were the notes stored in your mailbox or a local pst file? Do you still have access to the old laptop?

I know this is much later, but I've just had the same thing happen. And it's the yellow sticky style notes that I've lost - curse Windows Easy Transfer :mad:

Any tips would be welcomed
 
Do you have the old computer ? Sticky notes are in the notes folder which should be labeled ' this computer only' - you'll need to export them to a pst file to move them. WET probably moved the profile and pst files but not the contents of the folder where the connector data file is - %localappdata%\Microsoft\outlook (in Win7/8/vista).
