I could use some input here. I am new to the forum and I hope that I have posted this in the correct section. My company had our emails hosted with Godaddy since 2012 until everything was moved over to Microsoft office 365 exchange in 2022. Effective 06/01/2023 you can no longer access your emails via a desktop outlook program like outlook 2016 or outlook 2019 without being singed into the exchange server. In other words, IMAP is now blocked by Exchange and requires login with exchange settings. Our issue is that this now causes our case management software to be hindered because we have lose the ability to email directly through client cases with our software management system. The case management software requires IMAP to transmit emails through outlook as it records to each case. Does anyone have a work around for this? We have $11k valued of software that is now rendered almost useless for us as far as updating notes from that system to the emails.
Also, does anyone know how to be signed into outlook exchange without being signed on to every other Office product at the same time? We are testing something on the side.
