New Email "From" box stopped working

New problem: When selecting New Mail in Outlook 2021 (Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2021), the From box (and line) to the right of the Send box no longer lets me select one of my email accounts as the sender and no longer displays the email account being used. All other functions work properly including the To, Cc, Bcc, Subject boxes (lines) still work. The email account used seems to be the "Input" from the email account used and displayed to receive emails as displayed in the left most column.
