Outlook underlining all text after being sent to recipient

Some of the emails I send from Outlook, typically to Yahoo and Earthlink users, are underlined after being sent (prior to the users receiving them). When I send them, or when I view the emails in my sent folder, the text is not underlined. However, the text shows up underlined in the recipient's inbox. I can see this when they reply to me and have confirmed that is how they show up.

Note that this does not happen with all emails or all yahoo users, but for a number of recipients it does always happen. Also, the signature in the email that shows up automatically is not underlined.

Can somebody please help me stop these emails from being underlined? Thanks.
 
That usually indicates a problem with CSS - it could be happening on their end, not yours. Do you use an antivirus software that scans outgoing email? Do they? (Are the messages stamped at the bottom with something about being scanned? )
 
Thank you. My virus software (AVG) indicates that my outgoing emails are NOT scanned. I do not see anything in the replies I have received with the underlining showing the scan notices.
 
Does anybody have more thoughts on this issue? Again my emails are being underlined AFTER sending them out and BEFORE they are received by most Yahoo and Sbcglobal users. I tested this on my own Yahoo account and had the same thing happen. I should also note that it does not happen on the first email I send (if I start the exchange), but only on replies. It happened to every reply I sent myself just as I have seen with other Yahoo users. Can anybody help with this?
