After setting up the Follow up (Flag) and Reminder still none of these i.e. Follow up (Flag) and Reminder shows in the message that the Recipient receives in his Inbox.
 
Does the recipient have a rule that removes flags and reminders? Flags and reminders can be removed by the sending client or server or the recipients client or server.

When outlook receives a flagged message, it will be displayed with a little flag, indicating someone else set the flag.
