No Follow up when making new form

When I create a new contact form, the follow up flag and reminder do not work. I have tried creating 2 new forms and this problem exists on both forms. any ideas? thanks don
 
Hi,

It is IMAP but I am using it for people only, not really emailing. It works fine in the standard forms, just not in my custom form.

I also tried exporting data from folder and reimporting it, but this had no effect.
