My laptop running Office 365 crashed. I have to send it out for repair. Since the .pst is backed up on OneDrive, I thought that I could set up another presence of Outlook 365 on the guest Windows account of my wife's computer which is already running Office 365 on her Windows account, but not on the guest account. I thought that I could use the .pst in the cloud on OneDrive. I thought that I followed the instructions correctly and the new account of the same name as my original account set itself up automatically. However, it established a new .pst of the same name on the hard drive of my wife's computer. It then downloaded all of the email from the POP server into the new account. However, it does not contain the info for the calendar or contacts. I then thought I could rectify that my adding a data file link to the .pst on OneDrive and designating it as the default data file. It worked but now it shows 2 accounts of the same name. The one on the hard drive is receiving the mail, while the other one has the calendar and contact info.
What did I do wrong? Is there a way to get to where I want to be? That is with one account containing all of my folders that uses the .pst on OneDrive and duplicates my original account? Hopefully, when I get my laptop back, I could go back to using the same account from there?
Thanks for any advice.
