Enter Network Password box pops up every few seconds

I have tried virtually all of the applicable solutions to earlier examples of this question (for example, I do not have Norton, so have not tried those, I've closed Office/reopened it, restarted the computer, checked with my ISP, and I have not uninstalled XP and reinstalled it. Want to avoid that). It started just today. Any ideas?
 
Hi Gary,

1. Under your company intranet, if the intranet is working fine and Outlook pops up requiring password always, please try this:

Open a command prompt (Start-Run-Cmd), or enter the following in the run command :
rundll32.exe keymgr.dll,KRShowKeyMgr
and delete the line starting with “MS.Outlook”

Restart your Outlook, then it should work.

I just found out how to fix this. I hope it works for others also!

What I had to do was call my provider (AT&T) and have them reset the password on all of the e-mails that I have listed in Outlook. I made the password all the same, although that may not be required. Then it worked -- no more popups! I found this out from someone who had the same problem -- and Comcast told them they had to reset their password, that it couldn't just be changed in Outlook. AT&T didn't have a clue about any of this, but after I asked them to reset, it was fine! Good luck.
