I have been using the same .pst file on two computers using outlook. Win 7 64 bit. Thirty-two bit office.
All of a sudden, after a windows update, the client computer (the computer trying to access the other computer's .pst file) has a problem. It won't give permission. I went to the primary computer and gave outlook access, made sure sharing was on, etc. etc. Now when I try to open the .pst file it give me a message that a dialog box is open and that I have to close it and try again. I went into task manager and can't find anything open. I totally reinstalled office 2010 on the client computer and still get the same message. I have always just changed the location of the data file and it has worked. All of a sudden no-go. Been working on this for three days. Can you help?
Thanks
