I had Outlook 2010 on my old computer, and saved the PST file before it stopped working. The Outlook 2010 on my old computer had several folders that I had created on the left side of the screen, and I had moved emails into these folders after reading them. I have transferred the PST file from the old computer to the new computer, and got Outlook 2010 set up on the new computer, but I do not see any of the folders that I had created on the old computer that had several e-mails in them. Can I get the old folders back that I created on the old computer and move them to the Outlook 2010 on the new computer? If I can still access the hard drive on the old computer, then can I save these folders and their contents and move them to the new computer and transfer them to the Outlook 2010 on that computer? Thanks!

On the new computer press ctrl+6 to see the entire folder hierarchy. If the missing ones really aren't there, you had more than one data file (*.pst) on the old computer. You'd need to transfer them, too, and add them via File/Account Settings/Data File.

I tried ctrl+6 while Outlook 2010 was open, it didn't seem to do anything. Where would I look for the other data files on the old computer, are they in the same place or in different places?

If ctrl+6 doesn't do anything, then the view I was talking about is being displayed already. When you set up Outlook on the new computer, did you point it to the old pst file? Outlook doesn't use it automatically. Right click in Outlook on the top folder of the data file, choose Properties, Advanced. There you can see where the file is stored, see if it's the file you had moved over from the old computer. If it's not, add it as described in my previous post.

I went to "account settings," and it looks like it is using the data file from the old computer. So it looks like the old data set is being used properly, but I still don't see the folders I created in Outlook 2010 on the old computer. Does this mean there was more than one data file on the old computer? If so, how do I find those?
