Outlook VBA and Google Calendar ("Events")

Outlook 2016 64 bit
Email Account
IMAP
With the Thunderbird Calendar connected to GoogleCalendar, you can enter "Events" which are automatically shown in the Google calendar. If I’m not wrong, thats isn’t possible with Outlook, not even via VBA: I can insert appointments only locally.
Is there a way, via VBA, to update the Internet calendar (especially Google)?

I would love to have this feature as well. I've been updating the calendar manually since forever and it would be so helpful if I could do it with a press of a button. Any plans of making this happen at some point?
