Outlook locking up when replying to Email

Office 365 Exchange
At our office we are experiencing an issue where a user replying to a Email ends up with Outlook Not Responding. You cannot do a End Task on Outlook to fix it the only way is to restart the computer. All the other programs on the computer continue to work and Outlook is the only program affected. It is random with no rhyme or reason. Just wanted to see if anyone else had seen this or heard of the problem.

Outlook 2016 32 bit
Outlook 2019 32 bit
on the latest version of both
Windows 10 ver 2004

Diane,

I don't think we have paid that close of attention. We are usually so frustrated that it keeps happening and that we cannot kill it with task manager that I have not asked. I will ask the next time it happens and see if we can see a trend. I have tried to look at the error logs but they are not shedding any light on the problem.

For one user that I made the change two it made the problem worse (It was worth a shot) so we renabled hardware graphics acceleration. For this user they experienced the lockup when they clicked on the send button and had to restart the computer both times. I am going to look at the add ins for outlook. It seems to only be a handful of users. Nothing is similar between them that I can see. All have different types of computers. Trying to find similarities between the group.
 
Very Strange problem. I have gone into the Add-Ins and have turned off all the ones not needed. Probably should have started there. Will let you know if that helps.
