My LOGS runneth over for some reason, (3GB log files daily: C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Temp) and the setting for Outlook troubleshooting/logging - option is grayed out here: Outlook Classic 365 > File > Options > Advanced > Other >
I don't remember clicking that box. And now I can't un-click it. So for now I am manually deleting those big log files every day or three.
Pardon me if this has been covered, I looked and could not find a thread which addressed this issue.
I've been to a few random troubleshooting articles on the Internet that suggest editing the registry and I tried a few "tweaks" but the problem persists. One article ( Redirecting ) suggested that OL must "see" a fresh Profile that can only be established by deleting the profile keys at \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Profiles
I haven't done that yet.
I've never made a new Profile but it seems easy enough, although some other users with this issue said, "...just making a new profile did not work...". They had to edit the registry as I mentioned above. Other folks tried adjusting/deleting/making other keys, mostly without much luck.
Any suggestions before I go hacking around any further? Thank you for your time.
