Date options on Customized Contact form

I had posted a question on 8/8 with no response. I thought I'd try again. I have created a custom contact form in outlook and added a field called insurance policy expiration which we track. The month and day are important but not the year. In other words I wants to sort 8/12/13 & 8/12/12 and disregard the year. Is there a way to format the date without the year?
 
Sorry about that. My helpers seemed to have quit on me and I some times get overwhelmed and don't get to all messages...

Not sure how well sorting will work because Outlook is terrible at sorting dates in calendar order... but you can customize the view to show only the month and year. View ribbon > View settings button. Click Format columns and select the field. You'll have a select of date formats - they are based on your long and short date formats in Window's control panel, so if you don't see one you like, you can change it.
 
Thank you. I just ended up adding a month field which should work OK.
