Old unread emails on current date (MDaemon Server)

Hello Guys, i am new at this forum and its my very first post. Let me explain the situation to you all.

I am using MDaemon server as mail server and clients have different versions of outlook in my office. Everything is smooth and i am satisfied unless my boss calls me every 2-3 days and tell me he is getting old dates mails in today's date. I mean its 21st June today and you are getting current emails of this date. All of a sudden you will get mails of 18 June and it shows in inbox as unread mails and then you have to scroll it all the way and search the inbox that of what date emails it retrieve again.
I am not sure i am able to explain my problem but sorting out emails are not issue, issue is why email are coming in delay after passing their dates....

Are they actually old mail (previously downloaded?) or is it new mail with an old received date? If new mail, was it sent on that date or is it current but showing an old date?

Is he the only one affected? Did the problem just start recently?
If you reset the view on his inbox, are the dates corrected?

For new mail, date correct but delayed - this usually indicates a server problem somewhere - its late arriving and you use a view showing sent on date, not received date.
